How good was last year's Open Mic stage?!

Dozens of performers young and old, some slick some rough and ready, original songs and wild covers, electric wig-outs, acoustic jams, accappella singalongs and everything inbetween.

All on the back of a cute little tuck, with a few houseplants for added colour.		  


For us, the Open Mic was undoubtedly one of the standout highlights from last year's festival, so we're delighted to announce that it is back again for 2007.

Once again the stage will be situated outside Square 1 - just off Corporation Road, right next to the Thistle Hotel. It's a really good site, with plenty of seats, a big red parasol…and [hooray] a fully-licensed bar!
