Our Homegrown stages go some-thing like this. We call for bands to play at this year's festival. More than 200 of you - yes 200! - send in demos. We spend tortured hours listening, short-listing and arguing before we finally decide on this... the 2009 Homegrown line up. Too many great bands plus too few slots equals the hardest selection process ever. And if all that isn't exciting enough, we're also over the moon to be able to give a big Boro welcome to some super-cool German bands thanks to a very special collaboration with Olgas Rock Festival in Oberhausen. MML goes international. How good is that?!
