Middlesbrough Town Hall
Albert Road, Middlesbrough
A gloriously grand and imposing venue on the junction of Albert and Corporation Roads in the very heart of Middlesbrough, the Grade-II listed Town Hall comes with bags of character thanks to a ceiling-load of chandeliers, some stunning stained glass windows and acres of wood panelling. This is where most of our big names play - and they love it!

Or pop in and see us - we're based in the Tourist Information Centre, next to the main entrance to the Town Hall on Albert Road.
Main Hall: With a seated capacity of around 1,200, tickets for all comedy shows are pre-allocated at time of booking.
The Crypt: We can seat 400 cabaret style but it's first come, first served on the seats, so please get down early. And look out for our new reservation system which means you can reserve your very own table. It's coming soon - check back here for info.
Wheelchair access: The Main Hall can accommodate up to 10 wheelchairs and the Crypt 6 wheelchairs. One free ticket is available for each companion. Please note that lifts will only hold 330 pounds - please bear this in mind if you own a heavy wheelchair.
Large parties:In general our policy is not to allow groups of more than 10 at our comedy shows, as we've found that large groups in the room can sometimes spoil everyone else's entertainment. But if you're dead keen to bring a group down, give us a call at Ten Feet Tall on 01642 247 755 and we'll see what we can do.
How to find us: Middlesbrough Town Hall is in the heart of the town centre on the corner of Albert Road and Corporation Road. Sat Nav ref: TS1 1EP
Car parking: In addition to on-street parking on Corporation and Albert Roads, there are a number of car parks within walking distance of the venue. All are free after 6pm.
By bus: It's a five minute walk from the bus station or ask the driver to let you off the closest stop to the Town Hall.
By train: Again, only a 5 minute walk. Take the Albert Road exit, turn right and head down to the junction with Corporation Road.
Getting home: If the last bus or train leaves before the end of the show, there are loads of taxi ranks around the venue.
